Festivals and Conferences

1.      May 28, 2020 – IV Russian scientific and practical conference with international participation: "Topical issues of the development of ballet art and choreographic education" (online).

2.      April 3, 2021 – Participation in International round-table "Duet-classical dance: history, theory and methodology" in a distance format, organized by the faculty of choreography of Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. K. Zhurgenova.

3.      April 6-9, 2021 – Participation in the XXX International Scientific Conference in memory of L. S. Mukharinskaya (1906-1987), dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding scientist and professor, organized by the Belarusian State Academy of Music.
Participant from the Academy: Head of the Department of Accompaniment Techniques and Musical Education M. Bulankina.

4.      April 14, 2021 – Participation in International online competition "The best poster report" on the topic "Search for the new forms and the technologies in art" among second-year undergraduates of the creative universities in the field of art, held by Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. K. Zhurgenova.

International Activities 2019-2020 academic year

Participation of The Bolshoi Ballet Academy students in Gala show BalletSchoolStars in Rome, Nuovo Teatro Orione (Italy) on November 30, 2019.

The Bolshoi Ballet Academy students participated together with the La Scala Theatre Ballet School (Milano, Italy), Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera (Vienna, Austria), International Conservatory of Ballet and Dance (Leiria, Portugal), the Royal School of Ballet (London, the United Kingdom), the Berlin State Ballet School (Berlin, Germany), etc.

The students, who took part in the concert: Sergeenkova Eva, Denisova Arina.

The Academy presented the following pieces of choreography:

1.    Grand Pas Classique (Daniel Auber, choreography by Victor Gsovsky)

2.    Variation de Colombine from the Harlequinade (Riccardo Drigo, choreography by Marius Petipa)

3.    Spanish Cachucha from Le Diable boiteux (Andalusian folk music, choreography by Fanny Elssler)

4.    “Krakovjanka” from La Gipsy (Joseph Damse, Karol Krupinski, choreography by Fanny Essler)

5.    Shadows of the Past (Franz Peter Schubert, Choreography by Georgy Gusev)

 

Performances in Athens, Christmas Theater (Greece)

Since December 22 to December 30, 2019 the students of the Bolshoi Ballet Academy performed 9 shows of the Nutcracker (choreography by Vasili Vainonen).

Soloists: Gashtarska Stefanija, Orlov Mark, Denisova Arina, Smilevski Dmitry.
